This is a real account, not a demo. It reads from my own real IC Markets terminal. No figure on this page is invented: if my feed has nothing fresh to report, the figure is hidden rather than shown as zero.

What this signal does

This tracks my own real IC Markets gold account, traded with my standard approach. It is a real account, not a demo and not a prop-firm reference. With the GDI Key you also receive the GDI Signal Copier, which you attach to your own account to mirror these trades there in real time.

Account X-ray

Measured by my own live feed, straight from the MT5 account. Real account.

My account right now

Trade

I have no open-position feed reporting in right now, so I am not showing any orders here, live or otherwise.

Today (London day)

History (last 5 closed trades)

My closed trades will show here once my feed starts sending them.

Times are London time. Volume in lots, prices and money in USD. Never ticket numbers or account logins.

The Account X-ray for this account will appear here once my feed starts sending it.

Download the GDI Signal copier EA

This is the GDI EA that mirrors this account onto your own MT5 account. Download it free, install it, open it in MetaTrader 5 and look at every input before you buy anything. It only copies trades once a valid GDI Key is pasted into its licence input.

  1. Copy the .ex5 file into MQL5/Experts in your MetaTrader 5 data folder (File > Open Data Folder), and the .set file into MQL5/Presets.
  2. Open Tools > Options > Expert Advisors, tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" and add https://sync.golddailyinsights.com.
  3. Drag the EA onto a XAUUSD chart, tick "Allow Algo Trading" on the Common tab, and load the .set file from the Inputs tab.
  4. Paste your GDI Key into InpLicenceKey. Without a valid key you can still install it and see every setting in the Inputs tab, but it stops as soon as it starts and never copies a trade.
Optional protections (copier v1.10)

All protections are off by default. Each client sets their own values in the EA inputs. They only act on the trades this copier opened, never on your manual trades or other GDI EAs.

Group 8: Loss Limit Protection

  • InpLossMode: the unit for both limits, a money amount or % of the balance at the start of the day (default %).
  • InpEnableDailyLimit: turns on the daily loss limit (default off).
  • InpMaxDailyLoss: how far the day may fall from its best point (default 5%). When reached, the copies are closed and no new copies open until the next broker server day.
  • InpEnableSessionLimit: turns on the limit for the copies open right now (default off).
  • InpMaxSessionLoss: the most the open copies may lose together (default 2%). When reached, they are closed; the next signal trades are still copied.

Group 9: Smart Trailing and Equity Targets

  • InpTrailingMode: the unit for start, lock and target: money, % of the day's starting balance, or points times open volume (default money).
  • InpEnableTrailing: turns on the moving profit lock (default off).
  • InpTrailingStart: open profit at which the lock starts (default 2.0).
  • InpTrailingLock: profit kept once the lock starts, lower than the start (default 1.0). The lock rises with the best profit reached; if profit falls back to it, the copies are closed.
  • InpEnableHardTarget: turns on the profit target (default off).
  • InpTargetProfit: open profit of the copies that closes everything (default 10.0).

A copy closed by a protection is not reopened for the same signal trade. The day's state survives an MT5 restart. "Day" means the broker server day. The default money values are only examples: set them for your own balance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the GDI Signal?
The GDI Signal tracks my own real IC Markets gold account, traded with my standard approach. With the GDI Key, you also receive the GDI Signal Copier, which you attach to your own account to mirror it there.
Is this a real-money account?
Yes. The GDI Signal is my own real IC Markets account, not a demo. It is the only account the figures on this page come from.
Is this a prop firm account?
No. It is my own real trading account, run with my standard approach - not a challenge account and not a reference for passing one.
How often is the state updated?
The page checks my live feed every 2 seconds, and the account reports in roughly every 15 seconds. If the feed has not reported in recently, the figures are hidden rather than shown stale.
How do I copy this signal?
Download the GDI Signal Copier EA below, free, and look at every input before you use it. It only copies trades once a valid GDI Key is pasted into its licence input. See the GDI EAs page for the full install steps.
Is this financial advice?
No. This page describes my own trading on my own real account for information only. See my Risk Disclosure for the full picture before drawing any conclusions from it.

Trading involves risk. Past results on this account do not guarantee future ones, and copying it does not guarantee you will see the same results I do. See my Risk Disclosure before acting on anything here.
